Accepting the gift of conference registration from the Rail-Volution organization for City Marketing Director Jake Spano to attend the Rail-Volution conference from September 21 - 24, 2014 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

WHEREAS, Rail-Volution is an organization which brings together people who are passionate about building livable communities with transit choices; and
WHEREAS, the organization has a conference scheduled in Minneapolis September 21- 24, 2014 and has offered to pay the registration fee for Jake Spano, the City Marketing Director, to attend; and
WHEREAS, attendance at the event will offer attendance at a variety of workshops as well as opportunities to exchange ideas about livable communities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the donation of the attendance fee for Jake Spano to attend the Rail-Volution event in Minneapolis scheduled for September 21 - 24, 2014 and thanks the organization for its generous gift.
