Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license held by Wiley Willis.

WHEREAS, the Taxicab Driver license held by Wiley Willis (License ID #20070003604) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated August 18, 2014, stating the licensee was convicted on June 11, 2013, in Ramsey County of Felony Possess Pistol/Assault Weapon - Conviction or Adjudicated Delinquent for Crime of Violence (Minn. Stat. § 624.713.1(2)); and
WHEREAS, the licensee was placed on Supervised Probation on August 5, 2013 for a term of fifteen (15) years which is due to expire August 5, 2028; and
WHEREAS, based on this information, the licensing office recommended license revocation per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.16 (e)(4)(a); and
WHEREAS, licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to request a public or administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to request a public or administrative hearing by August 28, 2014, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Driver license held by Wiley Willis for the City of Saint Paul is hereby revoked.
