WHEREAS, the Second Hand Dealer - Motor Vehicle license held by Twin City Direct Auto Sales, Inc. d/b/a Twin City Direct (License ID #20060003070) for the premises located at 1265 Arcade Street in Saint Paul, was the subject of a Notice of Violation dated April 17, 2014, stating that during an inspection of the licensed premises on April 10, 2014, a DSI Senior License Inspector documented violations to license conditions #1, #4, #5, #7, #8, and #14; and

WHEREAS, as a result of these multiple violations, per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง310.05 (m)(1), the licensing office recommended a $1,000 matrix penalty and a fourteen (14) day suspension of the Second Hand Dealer - Motor Vehicle license; and

WHEREAS, in response to the Notice of Violation, the licensee requested an administrative hearing which was scheduled for August 20, 2014; and

WHEREAS, the licensee's attorney contacted the City Attorney's Office on August 18, 2014, to request the administrative hearing be cancelled and that his client admitted to the license condition violations; and

WHEREAS, the licensee also agreed to allow the adverse action to be placed on the City Council Consent Agenda for imposition of the $1,000.00 fine and fourteen (14) day suspension; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, Twin City Direct Auto Sales, Inc. d/b/a Twin City Direct is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $1,000.00 for violations to license conditions #1, #4, #5, #7, #8, and #14, documented by the DSI Senior License Inspector during an inspection on April 10, 2014. Payment of such penalty shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the adoption of this resolution, and be it
