Body
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant to Chapter 62 of the Administrative Code, did hold a public hearing on November 6, 2013 in the City Council Chambers for the purpose of establishing the level of right-of-way maintenance to be performed in the city of Saint Paul and the amount of assessment to be levied against benefited properties for both right-of-way maintenance and above-standard lighting operation and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works did perform the 2014 right-of-way maintenance services and the above-standard lighting operations and maintenance services in a manner as set forth and approved by the City Council and described in the report of the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has prepared the attached Report of Completion of Assessment for the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for said Right-of-Way Maintenance Program and Above-Standard Lighting Operation and Maintenance Program,
Preliminary Order: RES 13-1206 Approved 09/04/2013
Final Order: RES PH 13-212 Approved 12/11/2013; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has prepared an assessment roll listing each benefited property, the property owner, the street class and property type, and the charge for the service; and hereby submits the assessment roll for the City Council's consideration to adopt and levy the charges as an assessment against the benefited property; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and approves said Report of Completion of Assessment and assessment roll; and be it further
