Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation in the amount of $2,500 from the Midway Men's Club for the support of the summer youth programming.
Body
WHEREAS, the Midway Men's Club wishes to donate $2,500 to North Dale Recreation Center for the summer youth programming; and
WHEREAS, the donation will enhance the experience for Central area youth to participate in summer programs at McDonough, Rice, Scheffer, West Minnehaha, North Dale Recreation Centers; and
WHEREAS, receipt of the $2,500 donation will benefit the youth participants and further the mission of the Department of Parks and Recreation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept this donation in the amount of $2,500 and thanks the Midway Men's Club for it generous gift.
