Ratifying the assessments for Boarding and/or Securing services during March 2014. (File No. J1409B, Assessment No. 148108)

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 14-736 accepted the Report of Completion for Emergency Boarding or Securing and/or Boarding of Vacant Buildings during the month of March 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 6, 2014 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 14-376: 1043 Forest Street;
RLH TA 14-383: 717 Fry Street;
RLH TA 14-372: 884 Mound Street;
RLH TA 14-378: 578 Point Douglas Road South;
RLH TA 14-XXX: 897 Jessie Street: delete for separate consideration, referring the assessment back to Legislative Hearing on August 19, 2014 and City Council Public Hearing on September 17, 2014; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
