Purpose of Appeal
The egress window in the north east bedroom empties to a combination windowed porch. The porch door is 9 or 10 feet from the window. This house has passed several certificate of occupancy with no problem, now it doesn't - I don't get it. Floyd Johnson.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Floyd Johnson to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 503 FOREST STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension until September 12, 2014 for the window in Unit 1, northeast room to come into compliance by 1) stop using the room as a sleeping room; 2) remove all the windows and the door from the porch; or 3) cut a window into the bedroom wall; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
