Accepting a donation from the St. Paul Athletic Club (SPAC) for the Employee Wellness Program.

WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Athletic Club. LLC (SPAC) has offered to donate a five (5) day temporary membership pass to all employees of the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the City wants to encourage employee participation in exercise programs which are recognized by Healthy St. Paul, and frequent use of a health club satisfies one of the requirements of the City's Wellness Program; and
WHEREAS, this offer is available to the general public and is consistent with Chapter 41 of the Administrative Code; and
WHEREAS, for the above-stated reasons, the Office of Human Resources, requests permission to accept a donation of five (5) day temporary membership passes from the SPAC for all City employees; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul accepts the gift of a five (5) day temporary membership pass to the SPAC for all employees of the City of Saint Paul and thanks SPAC for this gift.
