Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of 564 stuffed animals valued at $2,529 from the children and congregation of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and Vacation Bible School.

WHEREAS, the children and congregation of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and Vacation Bible School have offered to donate 564 stuffed animals valued at $2,529 to the Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept this donation of stuffed animals from the children and congregation of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and Vacation Bible School, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to have the stuffed animals to provide comfort for children, vulnerable adults, and persons with special needs who ride in ambulances, and
NOW THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the residents of Saint Paul, accept this donation of 564 stuffed animals from the children and congregation of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and Vacation Bible School and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
