Authorizing the Fire Department to enter into a joint powers agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, State Patrol Division to provide firefighters for conducting search and rescue services, wildland firefighting, and structural firefighting for the time period of January 1, 2014 through June 30, 2019.

RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute a joint powers agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, State Patrol Division to provide firefighters for conducting search and rescue services, wildland firefighting, and structural firefighting as provided by the Fire Department; a copy of said agreement is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
