Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an amendment to the St. Paul Public Housing ACOP agreement.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD)  wishes to enter into an Amendment to the Agreement for Supplemental Police Services with the Public Housing Agency of the City of Saint Paul (CF RES 14-486) to provide police services in the A Community Outreach Program (ACOP); and   

WHEREAS, the purpose of the amendment is to update Section 7 of the ACOP agreement for SPPD to add a third Community Liaison Officer; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorized the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement the attached amended agreement with the Public Housing Agency of the City of Saint Paul.
