Ratifying the assessments for Excessive Use of Inspection services from October 28 to December 24, 2013. (File No. J1403E, Assessment No. 148305)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 14-362 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of inspection Services for the Property Code Violations billed during the time period of October 28 to December 24, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 4, 2014 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 14-243: 1385 Arona Street;
RLH TA 14-236: 740 Capitol Heights;
RLH TA 14-250: 1829 Case Avenue;
RLH TA 14-261: 987 Edgerton Street;
RLH TA 14-239: 451 Edmund Avenue;
RLH TA 14-223: 824 Fremont Aenue;
RLH TA 14-238: 447 Fry Street;
RLH TA 14-242: 1698 Lafond Avenue;
RLH TA 14-224: 79 Magnolia Avenue West;
RLH TA 14-247: 832 Sherburne Avenue;
RLH TA 14-248: 915 Snelling Avenue South;
RLH TA 14-240: 1280 Taylor Avenue; And, Be It Further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
