Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an Amendment to Joint Powers Agreement for Ownership, Use and Operation of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System with Ramsey County.
Body
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) wishes to enter into an amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement for Ownership, Use and Operation of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System with Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the agreement, as entered into on November 16, 2005, be amended to reflect the changes occurring due to Ramsey County's acquisition of their own CAD system which is in the process of implementation; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorized the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement the attached amended agreement with Ramsey County.
