This bedroom is located next to the living room; it has been an existing bedroom prior to I owned it I would like to appeal to keep the bedroom as it is as a two bedroom unit and efficient rooms for my tenants.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Thomas Yang to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 700 BURR STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension to July 1, 2014 to come into compliance with the order by discontinuing the use of the room as a bedroom or removing all screens and storm windows from the porch to be accepted as a bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
