Approving the polling location changes for the August 12, 2014 Primary Election, and the November 4, 2014 General Election.

WHEREAS, the elections staff completed their annual inspection of polling places and have the following recommendations for the designation of new polling places in preparation for the city and school district election, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, Pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 204B.16, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the following list of polling precinct location changes for the August 12, 2014 Primary Election, and November 4, 2014 General Election.
Ward 1 Precincts 3 and 16
Current location: Wilder Square Apartments
Proposed new location: St Stephanus Lutheran Church
Ward 1 Precinct 15
Current location: Rice Street Library
Proposed new location: North Emanuel Lutheran Church
Ward 2 Precinct 3
Current location: Sholom Home East
Proposed new location: Nova Classical Academy
Ward 3 Precinct 10
Current location: Highland Elementary School
Proposed new location: Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
Ward 5 Precinct 8
Current location: St Patrick's Church
Proposed new location: Mosaic Christian Church
Ward 6 Precincts 2 and 5
Current location: Arlington Hills Lutheran and Presbyterian Churches
Proposed new location: Arlington Hills Recreation Center
Ward 6 Precinct 10
Current location: Ames Elementary School - L'Etoile du Nord
Proposed new location: Hazel Park Recreation Center
AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, should further changes occur in the polling locations between the date of this resolution and November 4, 2014, the Ramsey County Election Bureau is hereby authorized to find appropriate locations in which to hold the elections. A postal notification will be sent to all registered voters affected by the changes.
