Authorizing the Fire Department to pay for all costs incurred to hold training for firefighters on March 21-22, 2014 at Hamline University.
Body
Pursuant to the 2014 City Budget, the proper City officials are hereby authorized to remit payment for training expenses not to exceed $750.00. This will pay for all costs incurred by the Saint Paul Fire Department to hold "Flawed Situational Awareness: The Stealth Killer of First Responders" and "The Tactical Renaissance: Rethinking Firefighting Tactics" training for firefighters on March 21-22, 2014 at Hamline University. The Saint Paul Fire Department received 2011 Assistance to Firefighters grant to cover the costs of this training. The public purpose of this training is to provide firefighters professional development and education.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
