Title

Authorizing a spending account in the amount of $10,000 for a contract between the Ramsey County Attorney's Office and the City Attorney's Office.

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Justice Programs at the Department of Justice awarded a grant to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office ( "County") for a three year period from October 1,2013 through September 30,2016 to implement a Veterans Court Track in Ramsey; and

WHEREAS, the grant included an allocation to fund a partial position, existing in City Attorney's Office ("City").

WHEREAS, The County will compensate the City in the amount of $10,000 per year for 3 years, upon receipt of an invoice submitted from the City before September 30^th of each year in the grant period; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $10,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2014 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following additions be made to the 2014 budget;  

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul approves these changes to the 2014 budget as defined in the attached Financial Analysis report.
