Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of White Bear Lake for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) connection.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD), is requesting authorization to enter into the attached amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of White Bear Lake (02-13364-I) for wireless network and support services; and
WHEREAS, this agreement shall amend the Joint Powers Agreement to provide the City of White Bear a connection to the SPPD's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, for their mobile CAD system, for an annual fee; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorizes the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement, the attached amended agreement with the City of White Bear Lake.
