Amending Council File RLH AR 13-100 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Fees billed January 7 to June 21, 2013 at 1225 WESTMINSTER STREET. (File No. VB1402, Assessment No. 148801)

Body

WHEREAS on January 2, 2104, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 13-100, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Fees billed January 7 to June 21, 2013 at 1225 Westminster Street.  (File No. VB1402, Assessment No. 148801); and

WHEREAS, the property at 1225 Westminster Street, being described as: Registered Land Survey 382 Subj to Esmt; Tract A, with the property identification number 19-29-22-44-0014 was assessed an amount of $1595.00; and

WHEREAS, the owner, Mark Guidinger, contacted the City Council's Office and indicated that the assessment should have not been assessed because the rehabilitation was completed on December 31, 2012.

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends deleting the assessment; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $1595.00, plus any accrued interests, be deleted and Council File No. RLH AR 13-100 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
