Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works in the amount of $ 674,704.00 to establish the budget for the capital improvements to be made on Cayuga Street from Phalen Boulevard to Westminster Street, and on Arkwright Street from Cayuga Street to Whitall Street.

Body
WHEREAS, The Department of Public Works is proposing a capital project in order to make improvements on Cayuga Street between Phalen Boulevard and Westminster Street and on Arkwright Street between Cayuga Street and Whitall Street, and

WHEREAS, the Department has worked with the affected property owners along Cayuga Street and they have agreed to share in the cost of the capital improvements which include the widening of Cayuga between Phalen and Westminster and the installation of a traffic signal system at the intersection of Cayuga and Arkwright, and

WHEREAS, a written agreement #14-1389 between the three property owners and the City has already been approved by City Council under RES #13-1862, and

WHEREAS, said agreement details and defines the roles and responsibilities under the project as well as the cost participation of all parties involved in this capital improvement, and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer, funds of $ 375,000.00, and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $ 299,704.00 in the Capital Improvement Budgets; so

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $ 674,704.00 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:
