Authorizing the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory to accept a donation of 17 ceramic planters of various sizes valued at $5,936 from Ryan Companies US, Inc. to be used at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory.

WHEREAS, the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory periodically receives unsolicited contributions of money and/or goods from a variety of sources; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Companies US, Inc. wishes to donate 17 ceramic planters valued at $5,936.00 to the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory; and
WHEREAS, the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will use the planters to display plants to the general public; and
WHEREAS, the City believes that accepting this donation is a benefit to the citizens of Saint Paul as it enhances the amenities at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council grants the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory to accept the donation of the 17 ceramic planters for the Como Park Zoo and Conseratory and thanks Ryan Companies US, Inc. for the generous donation.
