Purpose of Appeal
The deficiency list, work was done, talk to Sup. Fire Inspector suggest that I should go and appeal, had bad tenants, had police and sheriff evict, would not let inspector enter.

I took the appeal and scheduled for 11:30 a.m. because PO's attachment was a revocation.  After the fact, I realized it was VB status.  I called PO to inform him that the time for VB appeal is at 2:30 and he is fine with that.  Also, I replaced Revocation order with VB Reg. Notice.
 
Body
WHEREAS, in the matter of Michael Hawes to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 405 JESSAMINE AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee until February 15, 2014 and allow for the property to be removed from the Vacant Building Program, provided the Fire Certificate of Occupancy is reinstated by February 15, 2014; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
