Addressed all the reported issues and ordered a code compliance inspection. It's a timing thing that it couldn't get closed sooner.

Appellant wanted to appeal the vacant building notice, but an appeal on that issue is not timely. Staff told appellant he could appeal the Code Compliance Report. Appellant said that he will ask for the vacant building fee to be waived while at the Legislative Hearing.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Srinivas Pujari to a Code Compliance Report at 750 BUSH AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant deadlines for the following:
1) frame work on the garage by May 31, 2014;
2) everything else on the garage by September 1, 2014;
3) retaining wall by December 1, 2014 (can go on a separate Fire order);
4) exterior painting on garage and house by May 31, 2014; and
5) fence repair by May 31, 2014; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
