Authorizing the Fire Department to enter into a contract extension with Hennepin Technical College to provide credit-based fire protection courses for firefighters.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department entered into an agreement with Hennepin Technical College to provide credit based fire protection courses for firefighters, and
WHEREAS, the original agreement was approved on Council Resolution 11-1718, and
WHEREAS, the first agreement was approved on Council Resolution 13-233, and
WHEREAS, Hennepin Technical College would like to extend the agreement through October 1, 2013, and
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract extension with Hennepin Technical College to provide credit based fire protection courses to firefighters, as provided by the Saint Paul Fire Department; a copy of said agreement is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
