Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation and North Dale Recreation Center to accept a donation in the amount of $2,750 from the Midway Men's Club for summer transportation costs.
Body
WHEREAS, the Midway Men's Club wishes to donate $2,750 to North Dale Recreation Center for summer transportation costs; and
WHEREAS, the donation will provide Central area youth transportation money to participate in summer field trips; and
WHEREAS, receipt of the transportation donation will benefit the youth participants and further the mission of the Department of Parks and Recreation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept this donation in the amount of $2,750, and thanks the Midway Men's Club for its generous gift.
