Purpose of Appeal
Basement stairs - Risers are an inch difference in heigth. This is not a safety hazard and the order to replace the stairs is unwarranted - stairs have been there many years and have passed multiple previous inspections.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Blake Lehane to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 92 MAGNOLIA AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal allow for a small difference in rise in run of the stairs, noting it completed a code compliance inspection recently; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
