Approving the HRA Budget for the fiscal Year 2014, and the levying of the housing and redevelopment 2014 tax.
 
Body
            WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota ("HRA") have adopted the HRA Budget for the fiscal Year 2014 through its Resolution 13-1946, subject to the approval of the Council of the City of Saint Paul: and
 
      WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the HRA, pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.033, have levied the housing and redevelopment tax to be collected in 2014 through its resolution 13-1946 subject to the approval of the Council of the City of Saint Paul: and
 
      WHEREAS, the housing and redevelopment tax is necessary for the financing of appropriations within the 2014 HRA Budget, and
 
          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Saint Paul City Council that:
 
      1.      Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.033, the housing and redevelopment tax levied by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, to be collected in 2014 is $3,178,148 and is hereby approved
 
      2.      Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 469.033, the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify this Tax Levy Resolution to the County Auditor of Ramsey County immediately upon adoption and approval of this resolution.
 
      3.      Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 469.033. the HRA Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2014 as adopted by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul Minnesota, is hereby approved.
 
           4.        The City's Director, Office of Financial Services, staff and legal counsel for the City are further directed and authorized to take all actions necessary to implement this Resolution.
