Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Solid Waste and Energy Fund in the amount of $34,434 for additional expenditures related to refuse disposal and recycling.
Body
WHEREAS, The City receives revenue sharing from Eureka Recycling which is used to reduce monthly recycling expenses, and
WHEREAS, in 2013, there was a significant decrease in the amount of revenue sharing the City received from Eureka Recycling, and
WHEREAS, this decrease resulted in an increase in expenses associated with refuse disposal and recycling, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $34,434 in the Solid Waste and Energy Fund; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, uponrecommendation of the Mayor that $34,434 is available for appropriation in the Solid Waste and Energy Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
