Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $34,800 for a contribution received from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education to pay for training for firefighters.
Body
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Board of Fire Training and Education (MBFTE) has awarded a contribution of $34,800.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Department to reimburse for costs associated with firefighter training, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this contribution will be used to pay for training for firefighters, and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the contribution received, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additions be made to the 2013 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the residents of Saint Paul, accept this contribution of $34,800 from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education, extend their sincere appreciation to this organization, and approve the changes to the 2013 budget.
