Title

Amending the 2008 Bruce Vento Regional Trail Master Plan.

Body

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council staff recommended and the Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation determined the need to update the Bruce Vento Regional Trail Master Plan that was created and approved in 2008; and

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation is constructing the Lowertown Ballpark which requires realignment of the Bruce Vento Regional Trail from 4^th Street to Prince Street; and

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Parks Commission recommended approval of the Master Plan Amendment on November 13, 2013; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul approves and adopts the Bruce Vento Regional Trail Master Plan Amendment and authorizes the submission of said master plan amendment to the Metropolitan Council for review and approval.
