Accepting the donation of dog food and other animal supplies from Animal Ark for use by St. Paul Animal Control.

WHEREAS, Animal Ark is a 501 (c) (3) organization committed to benefiting the well-being of animals; and
WHEREAS, Animal Ark receives donations of food and other items and occasionally has more donations than it needs; and
WHEREAS, Animal Ark has offered in the past and wishes to continue offering those excess donations to the Saint Paul Animal Control; and
WHEREAS, such donations would benefit the animals impounded at Animal Control and accepting them would not cause any conflict of interest in the relationship between Saint Paul Animal Control and Animal Ark; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes Animal Control to accept the occasional donations of food from Animal Ark and thanks the organization for its generous gifts.
