Preliminary Order setting the date of City Council Public Hearing for November 6, 2013 to approve construction of above-standard street lighting along the west side of Cedar Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets, and the east side of Cedar Street from the south property line of Fifth Street to 120 feet south; and approving the annual operation and maintenance costs to be assessed to benefitted properties via the Right-of-Way program. In the Matter of approving the above standard street lighting along the west side of Cedar Street between 4th and 5th Streets and the east side of Cedar Street from the south property line of 5th to 120 feet south. Also approving the annual operation and maintenance costs, to be assessed to benefitted properties via the Right-of-Way program.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul, having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $25,900, financed Central Corridor Street Scape Project Funds and Assessments.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 6th day of November, 2013, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
