Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department, Chief's Training Fund, in the amount of $122,000 for the increase in training activities.
Body
WHEREAS, the Police Department, Training Unit, has realized increased activity in training functions and its Professional Development Institute (PDI) in 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department, Chief's Training Activity special fund 2013 budget needs to be amended for the increase in activity including the contract for training on forensic services procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.01 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations of those estimated in the 2013 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following changes be made to the 2013 budget, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2013 budget.
