Purpose of Appeal

We have an older house and would like our upper bedrom window dimensions to be accepted so that foster care children may occupy those rooms.  Currently, they are 19" high by 24" wide.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Julie Peterson to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 1447 WHITE BEAR AVENUE NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the upper east and southside bedrooms; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
