Appeal of Jeff DeLisle to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 538 SAINT PETER STREET.

Purpose of Appeal

We believe the correction notice referenced above was issued pursuant to a telephone complaint only and that an inspection of the building was not made on July 17, 2013 as indicated.  On July 17, we conducted an extensive examination of the building.  We found no unclean or unsanitary conditions in either the laundry rooms or the hallways, and no evidence of bedbugs in laundry rooms.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Jeff DeLisle to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 538 SAINT PETER STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
