WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Vehicle license for Cab #811 (License ID #20120003760) held by Bashir Ahmed Yusuf d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service for the City of Saint Paul, by an Imposition of Fine letter dated June 11, 2013, requesting the licensee to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council at the May 22, 2013 Council Meeting (RES #13-726); and
WHEREAS, licensee did not respond to the Imposition of Fine letter to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty by the June 21, 2013 deadline; and
WHEREAS, if the licensee failed to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty by June 21, 2013, the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Vehicle license for Cab #811 held by Bashir Ahmed Yusuf d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service is hereby immediately suspended for failure to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on May, 22, 2013.
The license will remain suspended until the $500.00 matrix penalty is paid in full to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
