Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Vehicle licenses for Cab #781, Cab #783, Cab #1386, and Cab #1974 held by Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Svc., Inc., d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Vehicle licenses for Cab #781 (License ID #20100004068), Cab #783 (License ID #20100004070), Cab #1386 (License ID #20120000029) and Cab #1974 (License ID #20120003754) held by Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Svc., Inc. d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service for the City of Saint Paul, by Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated July 10, 2013, alleging the licensee failed to make a payment on the $2,000.00 penalty imposed by City Council at the May 15, 2013 Council Meeting (RES #13-708); and
WHEREAS, licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to make a payment on the payment plan or request a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to make a payment on the $2,000.00 penalty or request a hearing by July 17, 2013, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Taxicab Vehicle licenses for Cab #781, Cab #783, Cab #1386 and Cab #1974 held by Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Svc., Inc. d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service are hereby immediately suspended for failure to make a payment on the $2,000.00 penalty imposed by City Council on May 15, 2013.
The licenses will remain suspended until the $2,000.00 penalty is paid in full to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
