Title

Ratifying the assessments for Property Clean Up Services from April 2 to 29, 2013. (File No. J1310A, Assessment No. 138522)

AMENDED 8/7/13

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 13-736 accepted the Report of Completion for Property Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of April 2 to April 29, 2013; and

WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 7, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 13-409:  272 Congress Street East;

RLH TA 13-415:  1390 Desoto Street;

RLH TA 13-406:  550 Hazel Street North;

RLH TA 13-478:  937 Iglehart Avenue;

RLH TA 13-405:  1227 Magnolia Avenue East

RLH TA 13-400:  579 Van Buren Avenue;

RLH TA 13-403:  643 Wells Street;

RLH TA 13-XXX:  1502 Iglehart Avenue - delete for separate consideration, referring the assessment back to Legislative Hearing on August 20, 2013 and City Council Public Hearing on September 4, 2013;

RLH TA 13-XXX: 586 Thomas Avenue - delete for separate consideration, referring the assessment back to Legislative Hearing on August 20, 2013 and City Council Public Hearing on September 4, 2013; And, Be It

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
