Authorizing the proper City Officials to accept a grant from Capitol Region Watershed District, and amending the spending and financing plan in the Department of Public Works Street Maintenance Division for the award of the grant.
Body
WHEREAS, The Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD) has established a grant program to provide financial assistance to various individuals or organizations to protect and improve water resources within the CRWD, and
WHEREAS,the Department of Public Works applied for a grant from Capitol Region Watershed District to support the purchase of carbide cutting edges and pavement temperature sensors, and
WHEREAS, the Capitol Region Watershed District board has approved funds not to exceed $10,000 to support the purchase of carbide cutting edges and pavement temperature sensors, and
WHEREAS, the CRWD requires that the City of Saint Paul Public Works must enter into a Cooperative Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the purchases must be made and submitted to CRWD by December 31, 2013; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes Rich Lallier to enter into the agreement on behalf of the City of Saint Paul; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the spending and financing plan in the Department of Public Street Maintenance Division be amended in the following particulars.
