Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to apply for and, if approved, accept a Youth Football Equipment grant in the amount of $1000 from USA Football.
Body
WHEREAS, the USA Football organization has selected the Department of Parks and Recreation as a finalist to receive a $1000 youth football equipment grant; and
WHEREAS, the grant will provide football equipment for youth participants of the North Area Football Association (includes North Dale & Rice Recreation Centers); and
WHEREAS, receipt of the football equipment will benefit the youth participants and further the mission of the Department of Parks and Recreation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to apply for and accept a Youth Football Equipment grant from USA Football.
