Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works in the amount of $82,000 for supplemental appropriation, and $50,000 for transfer of appropriation for emergency repair to the retaining wall adjacent to Walnut Street Stairs.  
 
Body
WHEREAS, an emergency repair is needed to the retaining wall that is adjacent to the Walnut Street Stairs, and
WHEREAS, the repair is necessary in order to avoid failure of the wall, and
WHEREAS, tuck-pointing along the wall will be performed to keep the wall secure in the future, and
WHEREAS, the property owner has agreed to pay $82,000.00 towards the cost of the repair, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $50,000.00 in the Capital Improvement budgets; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $50,000.00 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:
