Authorizing acceptance of grant funds from the Department of Employment and Economic Development for a Redevelopment Grant in the amount of $65,000 for the Central Exchange project, and authorizing amendment of the 2013 Budget to accept this grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution #13-129 authorized the Director of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Department of Employment and Economic Development for the grant; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Employment and Economic Development approved the Redevelopment Grant for: Central Exchange project and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby certify that $ 65,000.00 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2013 budget and recommends the changes to the 2013 budget identified on Attachment A:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul accepts these grants and approves the changes identified on Attachment A to the 2013 budget.
