Ratifying the assessments for Excessive Use of Inspection Services from August 31 to December 31, 2012. (File No. J1304E, Assessment No. 138304)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 13-414 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection Services for Property Code Violations billed during the time period of August 31 to December 31, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 5, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 13-266: 1160 Beech Street;
RLH TA 13-301: 262 Congress Street East;
RLH TA 13-271: 340 Daly Street;
RLH TA 13-270: 447 Fry Street North;
RLH TA 13-251: 993 Margaret Street;
RLH TA 13-290: 160 Richmond Street;
RLH TA 13-261: 1700 Seventh Street East
RLH TA 13-256: 1830 Seventh Street East;
RLH TA 13-239: 1190 Sixth Street East; And, Be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
