Appeal of Chester Landers, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), on behalf of Heather Meyers, EMC Investments, to a Summary Abatement Order and Code Compliance Report at 978 CONWAY STREET.

Purpose of Appeal

Mr. Landers receives only disability income.  A move would be a significant hardship.  I understand from Mr. Landers and Craig, a contractor from CG Lightbulb Constructing, that the building is close to being code compliant pursuant to the 4-9-13 order and that just some more time would be needed.  The building is habitable.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Chester Landers, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS); on behalf of Heather Meyers, EMC Investments; to a Summary Abatement Order and Code Compliance Report at 978 CONWAY STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
