Title

Authorizing the Police Department to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of North Saint Paul for wireless network and support services.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD)  is authorized to enter into the attached Joint Powers Agreement with the City of North Saint Paul for wireless network and support services, and   

WHEREAS, this agreement shall provide the City of North Saint Paul a connection to the SPPD's CAD system for their mobile CAD system  for an annual fee; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorized the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement the attached agreement with the City of North Saint Paul.
