Approving the acceptance of eight complimentary conference invitations for City of Saint Paul employees to attend the 2013 League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference, June 19 to June 21, 2013, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.

Body

WHEREAS,  the City of Saint Paul is hosting the 2013 League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference to be held June 19 to June 21, 2013 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre; and

WHEREAS,  the Host City receives eight complimentary registrations to the conference; and

WHEREAS,  attendance at the conference is an opportunity to stay up-to-date on  community planning and development, human resources, municipal finance and to share ideas with other cities; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED,  that the City Council accepts the eight complimentary registrations to the conference for employees of the City to attend the conference from June 19-21,  2013, and thanks the League of Minnesota Cities for its generous gift.
