Approving the agreement and contract for the Mayor's Office to hire Lockridge Grindel Nauen, P.L.L.P. as lobbyists for the city.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code ยง45.03 requires that all contracts for lobbying activities be first authorized by resolution of the city council; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Office wishes to contract with Lockridge Grindel Nauen, P.L.L.P., to provide, among other services, legislative lobbying for Saint Paul before the U.S. Congress and the federal executive branch;and
WHEREAS, the city council finds that the scope of services in the proposed agreement are consistent with the city's federal legislative priorities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the city council authorizes the appropriate city officials to enter into the attached professional services agreement with Lockridge Grindel Nauen, P.L.L.P.
