Preliminary Order setting the date of public hearing to authorize the acquisition of temporary and permanent easements to accommodate a Lift Station that will daylight the brook as part of the Trout Brook (Trillium) Nature Sanctuary in Saint Paul (File No. AE2013-01).
Body
In the matter of acquiring the following properties for the public purpose of assembling land necessary to develop and construct a lift station to daylight water from the Trout Brook stormwater interceptor, as depicted and indicated on the attached report and maps:
Shidler West
(Parcel ID No. 19-29-22-44-0021) - A temporary construction easement for staging, stockpiling and access to the Trout Brook Lift Station on the adjacent City property.
Pellow
(Parcel ID No. 19-29-22-43-0007) - A temporary construction easement and a permanent easement for installation and maintenance of an underground gravity line that will carry water from the Trout Brook interceptor to the nature sanctuary.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, attached hereto, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved, with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $95,000, financed by Capital Improvement Bonds.
2. That a public hearing be held on said improvement on the 15th day of May, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
