Authorizing acceptance of grant funds from Department of Employment and Economic Development for a Contamination Cleanup grant in the amount of $84,750 for the East River Apartments Project, and authorizing amendment of the 2013 Budget to accept this grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution #11-2125 authorized the Director of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Department of Employment and Economic Development for the grant; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Employment and Economic Development approved a Contamination Cleanup grant of $84,750.00 for East River Apartments (2318 Marshall Avenue Project) and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby certify that $ 84,750.00 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2013 budget and recommends the changes to the 2013 budget identified on Attachment A:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul accepts these grants and approves the changes identified on Attachment A to the 2013 budget.
