Title

Ratifying the assessments for Property Clean Up Services during October 2012.  (File No. J1304A, Assessment No. 138503)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 12-2190 accepted the Report of Completion for Property Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of October 2 to October 31, 2012; and

WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on March 6, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 13-62   - 319 Charles Avenue;

RLH TA 13-57   - 353 Cook Avenue East;

RLH TA 13-51   - 415 Fairview Avenue North;

RLH TA 13-74   - 997 Farrington Street;

RLH TA 13-46   - 891 Freemont Avenue;

RLH TA 13-60   - 883 Front Avenue;

RLH TA 13-72   - 1019 Geranium Avenue East;

RLH TA 13-76   - 1845 Hawthorne Avenue East;

RLH TA 13-48   - 1461 Iglehart Avenue;

RLH TA 13-68   - 1026 Lawson Avenue East;

RLH TA 13-59   - 1678 Old Hudson Road;

RLH TA 13-110 - 1678 Old Hudson Road;

RLH TA 13-98   - 586 Rice Street;

RLH TA 13-52   - 852 Tuscarora Avenue;

RLH TA 13-75   - 1011 Victoria Street North; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified; And, Be It

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
